PRAGUE - SADY BRATŘÍ ČAPKŮ

The project in Prague's Vinohrady district, a short walk from the Jiřího z Poděbrad metro station, is a unique piece of work. It is not a skatepark, nor are the concrete elements even built. It is a smooth concrete sloping surface in space. Its purpose is universal, from the visual aspect of concrete in the middle of a green park, to the possibility of skateboarding or playing for small children. The concrete is pigmented in red and orange earthy colors, and the space is complemented by a basketball hoop and other metalwork elements. Yes, they are rails, but the trick on them is not free!
