SKATEPARK CHEB

The design connects the sports area with the already existing relaxation zone. The curves of the paved surfaces are derived from the shapes of the other paths in the park so that the Krajinka area keeps a holistic impression. The existing greenery, benches and drinking fountains are reused and modified to a better use. The water feature in form of a huge fountain will act as an air cooler during the summer months. At the same time it represents a playful element for children as it is a very basic obstacle on its own. All of the skateplaza is surrounded with a long ledge, which is in line with the bricks from the walls of the historic city, located just on the other bank across the river Ohře
