ČESKÉ BUDĚJOVICE

The skatepark in České Budějovice is located in the area of the historic metal skatepark in Stromovka. The skatepark defines a circular direction of travel in both directions, with two elevated areas dominating the space. Both serve as a starting point for the remaining parts of the skatepark. A solid concrete surface lines a streetball court of its own specific dimensions made of newly laid asphalt, decorated in shades of blue, green and pink. These colors also complete the visual identity of the entire project. One of the corners of the skatepark also opens up the possibility of driving into the center of the space and forms a kind of "big section" with stairs, a hub and a railing. The entire area is located on the edge of a peaceful park, has numerous furniture, a drinking fountain, parking and even a public grill.
